About me
Dr. Elashkar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Administration and Policy at the College of Public Health, teaching technical and non-technical health informatics classes that focus on health data analytics, machine learning (ML), and knowledge representation. As a practicum director for the health informatics masters program, she supports students during their transition to the workforce, cultivating industry professional relationships, mentoring students from diversified backgrounds and skill levels, and developing current academic and professional educational material for delivery in both virtual and in-person modalities.
